- What is a temporary email?
- A temporary email is a disposable address you can use to receive verification messages or sign up for services without exposing your real inbox to spam, leaks, or tracking.
- Is Freetempmail free?
- Yes. Freetempmail is free. No signup, no card, no subscription, no trial expiry.
- How long does a temp mail inbox last?
- Your inbox lives in your browser session. Keep the tab open to maintain the address, or click Discard at any time to wipe the session.
- Can I receive attachments?
- Yes. Freetempmail supports standard email attachments, including receipts, documents, and verification files.
- Is it safe to use for signups?
- It's ideal for low-risk signups, trials, and newsletters. Avoid it for banking, government, or accounts you can't afford to lose access to.
- Does Freetempmail store my IP address?
- No. We never log connecting client IPs. The session token lives solely in your browser's localStorage and is never transmitted to an origin database. Combined with zero server-side message persistence, your device holds the only session record.
- Is Freetempmail like Temp Mail Ninja or Temp Mail Org?

- Can I use Freetempmail instead of Gmail or Outlook?
- For signups, OTP verifications, and throwaway accounts, yes. Freetempmail handles one-time activation flows without risking your primary Gmail or Outlook address. It is not designed to replace an ongoing personal inbox.
- Do you have a Chrome extension or mobile app?
- Freetempmail runs entirely in the browser without requiring Chrome extensions or mobile app downloads. You can pin the tab or add it to your home screen as a PWA for one-tap access.
- Can I send mail from a temp mail address?
- No. Freetempmail is receive-only. The same way a PO box accepts mail without outbound dispatch, a temp mail inbox receives verification codes without reply capabilities. This design keeps the service free and prevents abuse.
- How long do messages stay in the inbox?
- For as long as your browser tab remains open. Once closed, the upstream provider expires the address on its internal schedule. Freetempmail itself stores nothing, so copy out any important verification text before discarding.
- Will Facebook, Discord, or social sites accept my temp mail address?
- Most services accept Freetempmail addresses without issue. A small number of abuse-sensitive platforms filter known disposable domains. If one rejects your address, rotate to a different domain with "Try another address" across multiple upstream providers.
